사단법인 국제트리콜로지스트연맹은 국제 비영리법인으로 각 나라별 활동 지부를 두며, 미국,캐나다, 뉴질랜드,영국,호주,중국,필리핀,태국,인도,싱가폴,말레이시아 등 세계 각국에 운영본부가 운영됩니다.

ITF는 국가와 국민 그리고 세계의 건전하고 창조적인 트리콜로지(Trichology)를 선도하고 트리콜로지에 대한 학문과 기술의 발전을 위한 목적으로 조직되어진 비영리 단체입니다.

ITF는 국제 트리콜로지(Trichology) 관련 교육을 위한 교육개발 보급과 지도자들의 전문교육 및 평생교육 분야의 학술적 이론부분에 기초를 둔 실무능력 활성화와 영역별 능력평가 방법을 연구개발, 보급하여 진취적인 자기능력 개발의 기회를 제공하며, 사회적 국제적으로 트리콜로지(Trichology) 전문 단체 및 기업,클리닉,개인들의 권익을 위한 이들의 모임이며 전문적인 연합체입니다.

사단법인 ITF에서 인증하는 국제 라이센스와 국내의 법률 제5314호 자격 기본법 및 대통령 령 제15453호에 의거하여 전문 라이센스를 취득하며 국제적으로 인정받을 수 있습니다.
